I’ve been working with Charlotte since September 2025. Charlotte has been an invaluable asset to The Shore Community Church. Over the past few years, she has consistently identified, shaped, and secured funding that we simply would not have accessed without her expertise. The successful Biffa Award grant for our roof repairs is a prime example – a genuine game changer that has enabled us to safeguard our building so it can remain a safe, welcoming space for everyone, from young families to isolated older people. Charlotte also led on securing funding for The Haven, our local wellbeing centre providing support, activities, and a safe place for people who are struggling or isolated. Her work there has helped sustain and expand services that make a tangible difference to people’s mental health and everyday lives. In addition to many other successful funding applications, she secured funding for our garden project, transforming an unused grassy area into a dedicated wellbeing space for community use. She combines a strong strategic grasp of funders’ requirements with a real gift for telling our story in a compelling, community focused way. We continue to work with her one day a week to develop and submit new bids, and I have no hesitation in recommending her. Charlotte is professional, proactive, and a genuine delight to work with.
