I founded Charity Growth because I saw too many charities spending all their time reacting to challenges instead of creating the space to plan for the future. After more than 20 years working across the charity sector, I wanted to offer something different: straightforward, practical consultancy that helps charities build confidence, strengthen their organisations and increase their impact.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with charities of all sizes, supporting them through periods of growth, change and uncertainty. I’ve helped them develop successful fundraising strategies, secure grant funding, strengthen their marketing and communications and create clear, achievable plans for the future. Whatever the challenge, my focus is always the same – helping charities make a bigger difference to the people and communities they serve.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with a number of faith-based charities, helping them navigate the unique challenges of balancing their values with sustainable fundraising and strategic growth. I understand the sensitivities and priorities that come with working in this space and bring that experience to every conversation.
I know first-hand that running a charity isn’t easy. Resources are stretched, priorities compete for attention and there’s rarely enough time to step back and look at the bigger picture. That’s why my approach is practical, collaborative and tailored to your organisation. I won’t overwhelm you with complicated consultancy models or generic recommendations. Instead, I’ll take the time to understand your charity, ask the right questions and work alongside you to find realistic solutions that make a genuine difference.
One of the things I enjoy most is bringing people together. Whether I’m facilitating a Charity Discovery Day, carrying out a strategic audit or supporting a leadership team over a longer period, I create space for honest conversations, fresh thinking and clear decision-making. My role isn’t to tell you what to do – it’s to help you see new opportunities, build on your strengths and leave with the confidence to take the next steps.
The charities I work with often tell me they value my honesty, my ability to simplify complex challenges and my genuine commitment to their success. I believe every charity has the potential to achieve more with the right strategy, the right support and a clear sense of direction.
If you’re looking for an experienced partner who understands the realities of the charity sector and will work with you to achieve lasting, meaningful change, I’d love to hear your story and explore how we can work together.

Honesty
I'll always give you my genuine, independent view, even when it's not what you expect to hear, because charities deserve straight talk, not empty reassurance.
Independence
I bring an outside perspective free from internal politics or vested interests, so my advice is always shaped around your charity's best interest, not anyone else's agenda.
Collaboration
I work alongside people with empathy and bring structure to discussions to help resolve conflict and move the charity forwards. I listen first and consider carefully before making recommendations for the best solutions for your charity.
Pragmatism
I focus on practical, achievable recommendations, not vague strategy for its own sake, so you leave with a plan you can actually put into action.
Passion for the sector
I care deeply about the causes charities exist to serve, and that passion shapes how I approach every piece of work.
Cost-Conscious
I know that charities can't afford to waste money on the wrong priorities. I'm always mindful of budget and focus on delivering the greatest possible impact for the resources you have.
